Ashland – OES Race 3 Report

Warm dry conditions greeted the 3rd round of the series in Ashland, OR. The trails here are smooth and extremely fast, yet still have some long stretches pedaling, that saw the advantage going to the more fit riders.

This was also the first race team member, Riley Gibson-Graf, was competing in. Although he has run a few DH races in California, Enduro is an entirely new format for him. Racing in the Junior Men’s category, his winter time training seemed to pay off with a 5th place finish.

Unfortunately Mike was unable to make it to this race. However, Tony managed to continue his streak of 16th place finishes in the Expert Men’s class.

Graz had another good showing despite a major crash in practice that ended in a broken handlebar. He managed to shake it off and get on the podium!
